The shortlist for the China-Scotland Business Awards was announced on 2 February 2022. The shortlisted companies appear in five different categories: Exporter of the Year, Educational Partnership of the Year, Chinese Investor of the Year, the Award for Climate Action and Entrepreneur of the Year.
The winners of the China-Scotland Business Awards will be announced at a special ceremony during the Chinese-Burns Supper on 9 March 2022 in Edinburgh. Now going into its ninth year, CBBC’s Chinese Burns Supper has become a permanent fixture in the China-Scotland business calendar. The event will feature a fusion of Burns Night traditions with those of Chinese New Year as a backdrop for black-tie networking for the China-Scotland business and educational community.

The 2021 winners included Chinese Investor of the Year Logan Energy, which specialises in the delivery of engineering solutions for integrated hydrogen technology systems and attracted £1 million of investment from Henan Lanxing Power Equipment Co. to help develop the hydrogen market in China, and Entrepreneur of the Year James Buchan, who founded Dundee-based Zudu in 2014 to focus on digital marketing, development, and strategic consulting for both the UK and Chinese markets.
